Califon Bridge to Bridge 5K Run

On Sunday, October 03, 2010 1:00 PM at the Califon Train Station near the Corner of Railroad Avenue and Academy Street, the Califon Bridge to Bridge 5K Run will take place. There is a registration fee of $15 before September 17, 2010. Thereafter the registration fee is $18 until the close of registration on October 2, 1010 at 9:30 AM. An additional event, the Little Cougars 100 Yard Dash is $5 for all registrants

The Califon Bridge to Bridge 5K Run is a flat, easy out-and-back approx. 3 mile course on Columbia Trail in Califon starting at the Califon Train Station to Hoffmann's crossing and back. Runners/Walkers assemble at Califon Island Park by 12:30 PM on Raceday, October 3. There will be post race refreshments at Califon Island Park for all participants. Come ready to run/walk, parking will be available at Califon Island Park. Kids are encouraged to participate in the run. Jogging strollers are welcome; but please no bikes, scooters, rollerblades, etc. T-Shirts will be provided to all Pre-Registrants, others while supplies last.

The Little Cougars Kids 100 Yard Dash will be held in Califon Island Park at 2:00 pm. Registration for children 10 and younger is $5 and all kids will receive ribbons. Stay for awards at 2:30pm and enjoy the Harvest Fest as well!
